Bukit Panembongan Menakjubkan

Kuningan Terkini - Potensi wisata di Kabupaten Kuningan memang sangat besar. Salah satunya yang ada di Desa Tembong, Kecamatan Garawangi yakni bukit Panembongan. Objek wisata yang baru ada sejak akhir bulan Desember 2015 ini, sudah banyak dikunjungi oleh masyarakat terutama kawula muda, baik dari dalam maupun luar daerah.
Bukit Panembongan yang berjarak kurang lebih 1KM dari pusat desa lengkong ini, pemandangan alamnya samgat ,emakjubkan. Terlihat ada beberapa desa yang nampak terlihat dari atas bukit Panembongan, seperti Desa Pakemabangan, Gewok, Kadatuan, Ciniru, Cibunut.
Salah seorang pengunjung asal Sindanglaut Cirebon, Bara mengatakan, dirinya beserta teman-temannya sengaja menyempatkan datang ke Kuningan untuk menikmati alam yang ada di bukit Panembongan. Ia mengetahui adanya objek wisata Panembongan dari teman-temannya di media sosial.
"Saya tahu ada objek wisata panembongan dari media sosial seperti path. Saya kesini juga mengandalkan GPS di handphone. Bagus sekali pemandangannya," ungkapnya.
Objek wisata bukit tembong yang masuk pada hutan milik Perhutani ini dikelola oleh Karang Taruna Desa Tembong yang bekerja sama dengan pihak Perhutani. Adanya objek wisata bukit Tembong seluas 2 hektar ini, awalnya digagas oleh seorang pemuda desa setempat yakni Bayu, yang ingin memanfaatkan potensi alam yang ada didesanya.
"Penggagas bukit tembong ini oleh Bayu warga setempat. Sebelumnya disebut gunung bongkok atau cibuyung," kata salah seorang warga setempat Ade. (l.hakim)
